Delta Fishing
The Delta is home to many different fish and a favorite place for fishermen and women, boys and girls to sit on the banks or the back of a boat and hopefully land that day’s dinner! Among the many piscean delights that swim the waters are different types of bass, particularly striped bass, catfish, steelhead, salmon, and sturgeon. Not content with fish, the Delta also teems with crustaceans, the winner being delicious crawfish! Numerous fishing derbies are held throughout the Delta during the winter and spring, many offering substantial prizes to winners.
