Learn to Fish at Brannan Island SRA

Learn to fish with Parks staff on Saturday, December 27 at 9 a.m. at the Brannan Island SRA fishing pier. Get a quick intro to gear, Delta fishing basics, and how to fish responsibly. You’ll also have the chance to catch your own fish with staff guidance.

The program is free, with park entry $10 (you can also check out a California State Parks pass from your local library for free admission). Loaner gear is first-come, and anyone 16 and older needs a valid fishing license from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.
