Learn to Fish at Brannan Island SRA

Join Parks staff for the Learn to Fish Program at the fishing pier at Brannan Island State Recreation Area. You’ll take part in interactive demonstrations and learn when and where to fish in the Delta. Afterward, attendees can enjoy fishing time while State Parks staff coach them through the process.
Participation in the program is free, but admission to Brannan Island SRA is $10 per vehicle (you can check out a California State Parks pass from your local library for free admission). Loaner equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants ages 16 and older must have a valid fishing license.
