Molly Alves and members of the California Department of Fish and Wildlife Beaver Restoration Program team will present an overview of the Beaver Restoration Program, including its origins, goals, and progress to date. The presentation will cover beaver translocation, conflict management, site selection, statewide planning efforts, and opportunities for public involvement.
Speakers include Molly Alves, Beaver Restoration Program Supervisor, along with Kyle Pagel, Tanner Harris, and Lee Margadant from the Beaver Restoration Program.
This virtual event will be held via Zoom and is part of Flyway Nights, a monthly speaker series highlighting environmental issues, conservation research, and the natural history of Northern California. Registration is required to attend.
