Join experienced naturalists for a leisurely paddle along the Cosumnes River and its peaceful sloughs. This unique on-the-water experience offers an opportunity to explore one of California’s last free-flowing rivers while learning about the wildlife, plants, and history that make this area so special.

Participants must provide their own watercraft (canoe, kayak, or stand-up paddleboard), paddle, and properly fitted personal flotation device (PFD/life jacket). Participants should be comfortable paddling for several hours in outdoor conditions.
Please dress appropriately for the weather, bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and any snacks you may need during the paddle.
