Play Ball! An Inside-Baseball Look at Sacramento’s Role in the National Pastime in Sacramento

The Sacramento Historical Society will host a dinner program featuring a talk by Shawn Turner on Sacramento’s long connection to baseball. The illustrated presentation will explore the city’s baseball history, from the Gold Rush era to modern-day teams, and preview the Sacramento History Museum’s upcoming exhibit, “Play Ball! Sacramento in the National Pastime.”
The event is part of the society’s quarterly dinner series.
