Brannan Island Recreation Area
Brannan Island State Recreation Area has myriad waterways, islands and marshes with plenty of opportunities to observe wildlife, launch a boat from the ten-lane launch ramp, windsurf, or stay at the many campsites that dot the park. Visitors can cycle along the California Aqueduct Bikeway and experience the breathtaking landscapes of the Delta while gazing at the dozens of windmills along the way.
The park is located on Highway 160 a few miles south of the city of Rio Vista in Sacramento County. Facilities include three day-use areas.
