Intro to Canoeing/Paddling at Brannan Island near Rio Vista

As part of California State Parks Week, learn how to pilot a canoe, key safety points, proper oar strokes and more. Take one of the Park’s canoes on a guided paddle on Seven Mile Slough. Equipment and life vests are provided. Registration is required. $10 vehicle entry fee, or free entry when you check out a California State Parks pass from your local library. Bring sunscreen, a hat, and drinking water. Meet at the Brannan Island Swim Beach.
