Fishing 101 at Brannan Island near Rio Vista

As part of California State Parks Week, you can learn all about fishing! The hosts provide the equipment and expertise to guide you through the basics of fishing gear, knot tying, casting your line, types of fish in the Delta, and more. Registration is required. $10 vehicle entry fee, or free entry when you check out a California State Parks pass from your local library. Bring sunscreen, hat, and drinking water. Meet at the Brannan Island swim beach pier.
