Bring your passion for birds and help scientists gather data. Every February for four days, the community count birds, which helps to understand their populations and migration, as the Delta supports an incredible variety of birds.
Interested in birding and appreciating nature? These tours are docent led groups of 30 people. Tours involve driving with several stops, and optional walks to accommodate all levels of outdoor enthusiasts. Tours are free with a suggested donation of $10/adult to support the Yolo Basin Foundation.
