Striper Derby: Fishing starts at 6 a.m., weigh-in until 2 p.m. at the boat ramp, raffle tickets available all day, drawing begins at 3 p.m., Derby winners drawn following raffle - must be present. More information.
Waterbird Regional Preserve offers an opportunity to observe a variety of water birds in their natural habitat. Visitors may borrow binoculars or use a spotting scope to view local birdlife, with identification guides and information on common species available. Beginning birders are welcome, and a bird sighting is guaranteed.
