Background
Recognizing that one of the main complaints from community surveys has been the lack of helpful signs in the Delta, the Delta Marketing Task Force (Visit CA Delta) seeks to develop a strategy to improve awareness of the Delta’s location, outline sign needs, and collaboratively develop sign designs.
The Delta Sign Plan will:
• Evaluate existing signs and discuss possible improvements
• Determine the best locations for new signs in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta
• Design both modified and new signs for the Delta, if needed
This project is a partnership between the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Conservancy, the Delta Protection Commission, and the Delta Marketing Task Force. Funding is provided by the Delta Stewardship Council.
